1. SRM university- faculties name in "tamil" hence difficult for students of north to remember.

2. Many survey compare it with IIT's (lol)

3. If attendance in any subject is less than 75% then 10,000 rs. fine per subject and detention.

4. Infrastructure is awesome from outside but from inside it sucks.

5. It's a beautiful college..no study..no work..lucky people get jobs rest sit in classes or look girls of other department.

6. People all over world worry about night robbery but SRM chennai students worry about day light robbery.

7. The maximum complaint about SRM chennai is about refunding of amount taken before admission that is 1.5 lacs.

8. The medical section have scheduled classes from 8:30-3:30 but they hardly have classes and are treated as reformatory school.

9. Faculties have their eyes locked towards the girls only and even they are so co-operative that they will not force you to study.

10. Engineering  is now competing but in SRM there are no hectic schedules, no stress, just pure fun..come to SRM if you have 6 lacs extra in your pocket.

Everything is manageable once you are in SRM  university chennai .
